Thank you for pointing out that cbdc's would be a way of financing government debt, government bonds do the same. I'm astounded that people haven't worked this out. Whichever way we turn governments are just screwing ordinary people, whether through raising or inventing more taxes or creating conditions whereby banks & investment institutions expect us to fund their profligacy. All this while when ordinary people try to improve their own lives governments step in & want to control matters, everyone loses as you describe

Cbdc vs digital banking.
No one is comparing them.
Cbdc are crappy competed to physical chas. But most people don't use physical money nowadays It is debit/credit cards.
I never use money nowadays except when I'm buying second hand stuff (i hate pennys).
I don't see any difference from digital bank and cbdc, to be honest cbdc seams better than banks printing digital money.
