These are some of the best events to photograph in October 2022: 3 conjunctions of the Moon with Saturn, Jupiter and Mars, Mercury at greatest western elongation, the full Moon, the Orionids meteor shower, the zodiacal light, a partial solar eclipse, the aurora borealis (northern lights) and the Milky Way and the Galactic Center.
