Do you guys like this kind of video? I was thinking about making guides about some of the game mechanics even if Arknights is already a 3-year old game. My idea for the next one is to talk about Attack Scale Modifier and why it is important. Let me know what you guys think.

Before i watch the video i must say. It's important to teach players about roles in the game, and how X operators can fulfill these roles effectively. Things like laneholding, stalling, boss killer, helidrop, etc. With this players will understand a bit more their operators and forget about common tierlists which compare operators within the same archetype but might have different roles to fulfill. Now onto the video

I hope Hypergryph will show the actual stat numbers for the enemies in the future. Rating the Resistances with letters such as A or S is helpful but not accurate enough to assess the enemy weaknesses.

While I do think knowing Burst and Average DPS is nice, I dont think it is more crucial than understand WHY they get to that number. (which I think is the point of your videos)
There was something stuck me from the 1st half year of playing the game, the players that I observed tend to watch a guide, ended up copy 1 by 1 without understanding WHY the strategy/decision making behind it. WIth that mindset, they can easily take a look at burst DPS/average DPS without fully understand the context behind those numbers
Im someone who played from day 1 without knowing ANY average/burst DPS, but I know WHAT I CAN EXPECT.
Like Exusiai, I know she shoot A LOT, and FAST but without any atk% buff mean enemy defense is her highest hindrance, so I know with someone can debuff defense/provide atk%, she melt things.
This has more to do with some individuals ability to read properly and take more time in understanding some subject matters :/

This is a great video. Aside from guide and showcase video, concept like this is helpful for players that do not read in the game or to a newbie that is fresh from the game.

I learned that you cannot just "unga bunga" your way to victory with ops who are known for that role. The Surtr example is the best with this. If the boss has absurd RES, then she is not fit for that task even if you bring the buff and debuff squad with her. Players need to learn from these kinds of vids.

Sad reality is that there are some players out there who would just ignore the learning part and just ask others to "just show me how its done" without fully understanding and learning from it.

Anyways, thank you, Dreamy. We all need more of these kinds of videos.

A bit off-topic, but I think knowing this might explain the powercreep Gavialter imposes on Blaze. I might have to go back and watch your Blaze guide to figure out the latter's burst dps on her sk1 and 3 cause I experienced an instance where she was unable to hold a lane in CC10 with sk2 while Gavial dealt with it on sk3, no problem. That, and there was an instance where Gavial was able to completely demolish the flame mage of CC10's final daily due to the uptime of her sk2.

I have a video on both (shameless plug, I know), but watching this reminded me of those two instances.

Burst Arts DPS should be obvious enough, given how RES works. If you can't do a flat multiplication based on the enemy's RES, I don't even know anymore.

But everyone knows that explaining Burst Phys DPS is difficult to portray even with a chart. That doesn't justify saying LESS about it, of all things. These guides are plenty good, and expecting more would require setting a standard for how we tier enemy defenses: a thoroughly unfun activity when there are so many DEF and -atk modifiers in various modes.

Contents like this should be attentioned, like this is a brain-using game, players need to analyze the ops they're using if you REALLY WANT TO BE GOOD at this game, or so on, if not, you can just watch guides or sth like that to help with your gameplay
You can play the game however you like but to call yourself an expert or a pro player is a different story

Dmg per hit is still better for 90% of the cases if you are not using buff army strats otherwise yeah the highest burst dps ones would win with the help of buffs and debuffs.

AK streamers gotta deal with the most brain dead comments but "just surtr it" has kinda become a meme its like the equivalent of "just get good" so its possible the people spamming that didnt mean it literally
