Puig Clip on spoiler

Hello fellow riders/youtube people.
You will most likely say that I went overboard with all these screens and spoilers, but better too much than missing something.
Therefore, today puig clip-on to Puig wind screen.

Hi there, I said it works with the Puig spoiler. And then I drive with the original screen in the lowest position, and it works great for me, more stable screen and less noise. And then I can drive with the visor open at 100 km/h without problems. I hope you are happy with your Puig after your trip to Europe. Great video as usual. Stay warm and stay safe..👍👍👍

I’m 6’1”, 34 inch inseam. Ride with an Arai XD4 w/ visor. Buffeting with the stock windscreen in any position was BRUTAL! Installed this same Puig spoiler and it is PRICELESS! Zero buffeting. With the windscreen all the way up can still see over the top just fine.

Puig is releasing the new adjustable visor 2.0 set to be available in a month or two. It's basically the same but with a slightly better design. I know you probably bought this a few months ago now, before your trip to Nordkapp so you wouldn't have known.

I will be waiting for that and buying it since I also noticed on my 3600 km trip recently that I slouch instead of sitting straight in the seat... simply because when I sit straight I can feel turbulence on the top of my helmet so that translates into wind noise in the helmet and that translates into me slouching and not having a good posture while riding.

PS: I already have installed the tallest windscreen from Puig and set to the maximum position on the bike. I am simply too tall for it 😅

I have 2 screens, one with the clip on, I used crazy glue to permanently set the clip on cause mine was a cheap Chinese made but same principle, the clip on worked great till last winter & I had to ride in winter fog, I constantly had to clean the clip on cause even at the lowest windshield position, I had to see through the clip on, Now I use the Puig Windshield with no clip on at medium hight & feel no downward pressure.

great video again thanks, can I ask what height you are and what size puig you went for, there seem to be 3 different lengths (220, 250 and 315 at widest point). I have the bog standard versys so the puig main screen I bought is a bit narrower than yours at the top. many thanks!

Hi! Great and informative video. I just bought a Versys 1000 and was thinking that I might need to exchange the stock screen. I saw in one of your earlier videos that you used the Givi D4120T on your previous Versys 1000. How was your experience riding with the Givi windscreen compared to your current setup with the PUIG one?

it seems to me it all depends how you tune it, if it is perfectly tuned it must work, however if it is poorly positioned it can do more harm than good
