According to Washington and London, a US/UK trade deal is coming soon. It is bound to represent a massive loss of freedom for the UK. It's the last thing we need.

Are you going to do a parliamentary petition asking Starmer to stop a trade deal with the US? I would sign it :D

I couldn't agree with you more. 👍

It’s called: “no balls sindrome”, very common with British politicians.

I am surprised by the UK's lack of "Fingerspitzgefühl"!

What about AUKUS?.. As an Australian 🇦🇺 we have committed to the alliance as well as the UK, and we have just handed over $800 million AUD. Then got slapped with a tarrif. What pressure would the US put on UK and Australia.

Worked reasonably well is wildly open to interpretation.

You only have to watch Starmer speak for 5 minutes. He has nothing about him - no feelings, no integrity, no knowledge, no memory of what he said last time he spoke, its like he's got no soul nor sense. Who put him in the 'leadership' role? The UK people? If so it is a reflection of the UK people to be just like him. If he was not elected by the people then why allow him to be in that position?

Starmer is under the illusion he can play both sides. He's an idiot. 🙄

I'm in Australia. The EU has imposed tariffs on Australian primary produce for decades.

If you were going to do traded in days like these China would be high on the list and if one had any sense it would be top of the list . 🤔

Don't worry Starmer always makes the wrong decision. Would be nice to have a leader that puts their own country first. Maybe our favourite emeritus should stand for parliament instead of being an armchair critic.

... the worst British decision since Brexit 😢

If we only did deals with people we liked we’d get no where.

Perhaps Starmer is looking beyond Trump when, hopefully, a reasonable degree of sanity returns to American politics. He’s trying to preserve our relationship despite the current aberration
