Toyota Forklift rough idle. Easy Fix!!!

i like to run them hot and drain the regulator, 12mm drain plug on bottom of it, then go clean throttle body as well. then go plug my analyzer in an do what you just did but im ocd so i like to set it to 2.50 and keep it under 5.0 on TA. did two today, they both ran "ok" but were idling up and down alot, and had a slight delay in the acceleration. fixes them real nice. love toyota forklifts.

youd be shocked how crappy those throttle bodys get, last three i did were horrible.

i had a 2004 TCM in last week that i got at least 4-5 oz of oil out of the regulator. freeking nuts, ran very well after that.

Youre just making it richer which could be masking the real issue like a mixer or injector you shouldn't adjust the mixer screw without an analyzer

I'm dealing with one right now that has a rough idle at start up but also intermittent white smoke coming out the tail pipe but only when it's cold. Once it warms up it starts running fine. I checked the radiator cap for bubbles and the oil dipstick tube for chocolate milk to make sure it wasn't a head gasket, but idk. I'm stumped, 4y Toyota just like this one, any ideas?

hello forklift Guy a had the same problem in one toyota 8fgcu25 4y motor asian sc regulator.
but whe i regulate the lp ball, the motor get stable again but, i push de gas and this acelerate good, leave the gas pedal and when i try to acelerate again i push the gas pedal but it do like the engine didn’t mix good the air fuel in the chamber

Hello body i have forklift dp35n start ok idle ok but if you press the rpm wont accelerate but if you press slowly then engine accelerate but if full press suddenly stop and going to idle

I have a rough idle when inching. I changed the regulator, plugs, wires, and rotor, Forklift has 30k hours, what else could be causing the rough idle? toyota 7fgu

Im getting that problem when I press the accelerator.. It idles fine

No your doing it wrong. That is a computer controled engine. The way you are adjusting the fuel idle screw it will set a light. Back prob the O2. Millivolts on the multimeter.
Watch for a cycle below 0.3 volts and above 0.8 volts. Back prob the infector at the same time with meter that can read millisecond and that should be at 6.5.
