USD, Gold, EUR/USD, USD/JPY Stretching Q4 Trends: US Dollar Price Action Setups

Just a few weeks ago in these webinar I was looking at counter-trend setups in USD and EUR/USD as the Euro struggled at 1.1200 and the US Dollar was building in a falling wedge, often approached with aim of bullish reversal.

Well so far in Q4, that's what's showed up and at this point DXY has already retraced 61.8% of the 2024 sell-off. RSI is overbought on the USD and oversold in EUR/USD. Through both Q3 and Q4 themes, gold has only continued to push higher and this really appears as though it's pricing in a possible policy error. Nonetheless the Fed continues to sound dovish and until that changes, there's little reason to question the trend.
