The home owner will pay a suprisingly decent amount of money for a service call to have somebody come by with a ladder, run around the yard, blow the roof off, clean the gutters and check downspouts for clogs. Success in this business is the art of great customer service for the proud home owner. They will pay more to have moss treated and your can expand the business to include window cleaning and roof cleaning. I've been doing this for many years and it pays quite well. I do very little marketing as most jobs are repeat clients and referrals.
