China’s air force continues to pose a threat to Taiwan. In the past year as many as 28 Chinese fighter jets have breached Taiwan’s air space in a single day. While no shots have yet been fired, Taiwan’s military is determined to have the best weapons on hand to protect the country if needed.

Is it that Taiwan's air space that has been breached, or is it that they crossed the median line/entered Taiwan's Air Defence Identification Zone (ADIZ)? The two are very different.

Taiwan should have build their defence industry long time ago in the 70s and 80s while they were building their economic growth. Start military relationship with your friendly countries, have military exercises, naval visits and build bases for your friendly countries (so you can depoly assets there) instead of concentrating in Taiwan only. Help your friendly countries to build and invest in their economy, you need to invest on them. Build up your drones capability on top of your ballastic missles in submarines capability too.
