What happens when mulch gets wet? Wouldn't that speed the rotting process or the colonization of fungus?

I can't tell, by laying them down will u get roots at various nodes? how cut the video off before we could tell. u did only dip the bottom in rot hormone but why lay down instead of vertical? Do u end up potting straight up or do u cut up cuz roots pop up on all sides hitting sand?
