I love the sound the props make on 6s.

Killer flight man, very impressed with your handling of it in your back yard. 3-3.5” can get out of hand real fast in small areas. Love the review man!!

I've explore 6s on 3.5" props and the weight of the batteries just doesn't do it for me. The sag on 4s sucks but it's so nimble!

Wow the Domain 3.6 is heavy! No wonder they put big 2105.5 motors on 6s. I'll be honest, for a 3.5 to 4 inch quad, it looks like it flies like an overweight quad. Like when you put a battery that's too big to get extra flight time. Or maybe it's the rates or really high RC smoothing? I don't know. Of course, your flying is amazing as always. That tree dive through the branches was great!

I built a 4" with 2105.5 3600kv 4s motors and it accelerates faster and is more agile than any 5 inch. It only weighs 340 grams with a 4s 850 Tattu R-line, but also has hang time and some momentum to make it fun.

6s is great for 5 inch quads, but personally don't think you need more than 4s for 4 inch and under.

When you said: "Also comes with another 3d print that you can use a different hd camera" That is actually the printed part for the "Optional GPS" that your quad didn't have. I just purchased the 3.6" GPS model last week and it will be delivered tomorrow. So excited to get it even with the snow in NY right now. I was excited to see another YouTuber review this quad before I got mine in hand.

Backflip through the tree was perfect Nick. Great review! For me personally the battery price difference is hard to swallow for 6s batts. I do feel like my 6s batts sag less at the end of the pack over the 4s but that's not enough to swap the entire fleet over. Currently enjoying 1s 4s and 6s wings and quads

Thanks for another great review. I use 6s on everything bigger than 2.5. Flight times, sag and of course 6 is more than 4.😉

Great flying as usual Nick, man that quad rips! Way too much for me.

I have an older HGLRC 6s Petrel132 I got for free back in like 2020... pinnacle of 2020 BNF engineering, it has tall 1106 2400kv motors and a 13A F411 16x16 stack.

Despite my best attempts at killing it over the years, it still has the original frame, FC, ESC and motors. It survived numerous full speed ground encounters, and a week of 3D mode practice. I'll keep on flying it until it can't anymore even though I'll have much more recent 3" builds ready soon.

Hi Nick, so one thing that seemed to come across on the video - this quad covered the "track" in your backyard quite quickly! I can't say that I am a fan of the shape of this quad but I do appreciate the side plates... when I fly in my backyard my quad gets full of grass clippings, dirt, etc...

You do make a good point about the heat up concerns with the 03 - that thing gets stupid hot. There are some heat sinks now being offered for the 03, I just bought a set (made by iFlight) but it did not fit... it was undersized by - a lot, over a mm of interference... but I wanted to use it that same weekend so I cut the flanges off and it worked fine. Note that the flanges do not seem to be doing anything functional. . I don't have data yet on the before/after for the heat sink, and I could believe that it is actually not really doing that much which makes me wonder if adding thermal paste between the 03 and the heat sink would be of any benefit

The receiver on this quad being mounted in that printed mount, I am not sure what to think. The size of that quad makes it look like the receiver could easily fit inside the body. Why would they design it this way|?

So how would you sum up the experience? I think the speed is very noticeable and for what it is worth that is not necessarily something that I want. I like the idea of flying a sort of track or course, much like I see you fly in your videos. But one thing for me for sure - I love to race, raced MX for 3 decades so it is deep in the blood... fwiw I can't race anymore. I have been into RC for decades as well racing off road trucks both nitro and electric.

Those off road buggies and truggies are fun as heck and the new RadioMaster surface radio is AWESOME! Shoot, years ago I would drool over some of the expensive Airtronics or Futaba radios with price tags of $400-$500, or even more and as such, I never could touch one but the new RadioMaster is every bit as good as those radios and then some for something like $130! How amazing is that! When I started in RC t was with AM radios (HA!), no fail safes, and nitro engines that would always seem to only fail WOT and run away usually crashing into a curb... Anyways, nice job with this review (as always) Nick, thanks for what you do. Cheers.

Does it come in Blue? lol. Nice looking with the white plates I’d say. It screams, those punch outs look fun! You really flung it around the backyard. Amazing powerloop inside a tree!!!

Fantastic flying and review, Nick! 😃
Well, for me... 4s is the highest I'd go. I see no reason for more, but that's just me...
Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊

Thx for another great review. My head still spin after footage :D I build similar set on Axisflying mata 3.6 and C224 2750KV on speedebee V4 55A. Weight 327g + I flew with 2 x 6s 1100 CNHL (208g) / 2 x 6s DOGCOM 1150 (180g) / 2 x 6s DOGCOM MCK 1380 (224g) ...very powerful quad. Need to check fly characteristic with smaller battery - is nice little monster !

Damn I really like this quad! It's got the looks, the power and the flight time! This Domain could be your freestyle rig and with a GPS on the battery strap your long range rig too. Thanks Nick, cheers!
