Ancient blades really are just the "I don't want to deal with this" weapon, since the enemies don't drop things when hit by them.

I didn't recognize the ancient blade as the ancient arrow tip from botw, so I fused it to a sword. It broke in one hit and deleted a Lizalfos. Took me a second to realize what just happened.

The forest dweller weapons only work when using things like vegetables and fruits

The forest dweller effect only works with natural materials that burst, so fruits, vegetables, mushrooms, and flowers (but not bomb flowers). I think the two most useful fuses are dazzlefruit or ice fruit. Puffshroom on a shield is also pretty nice

You can use the ancient blade on 8 fold wind blades to increase the damagw of the air slash without consuming the blade

Forest Dweller weapons only recycle _organic_ items that would normally be used up when used. Chuchu jelly, Muddlebuds, Puffshrooms, the various elemental fruits, etc. Gibdo Bones, Ancient Blades, and other undead or mechanical/mineral one shot items are still used up as normal.

I didn’t realize they actually did the one shot thing, I thought it was just a 50 attack bonus. Now that I think about it, that was a little stupid, considering Gibdo bones exist…

I really hope ancient weapons make a return somehow in the DLC, if not for the sake of just having them in the game. They had such a cool vibe to them

It was a good idea to test. I have an idea like that too. Maybe you guys can test it and get back to me: Rito weapons. Feathered Edge and the like.

Normally nobody likes them. The winbirst disrupts the combo you want to kill you enemy with. But...what about ice? Naydras Horn?

Freeze, then blow. On one hit I want to know if it works. That's...constructs blown off of sky islands. Silver books blown into the water. So much usefulness.
