I really got a big kick out of this group (conjunto J) from Japan. It is proof positive that the Tejano music genre has a global audience. I like that. They seemed comfortable and dressed the part with cowboy hats, jeans and even boots. Their enjoyment of the music was highlighted by the traditional bray or yelp while they were singing. I enjoyed their performance tremendously. It appeared to me they also received a great welcome as the crowd seemed very receptive. Much luck to them. Maybe I can get a chance to see them in Japan while I am wearing a cowboy hat, boots and jeans. BRAVO!!!
