Not regine Velasquez, it's Sharon Cuneta. She made popular the 'Balutin mo ako' (wrap me up) from her song 'Bituing Walang Ningning'. Balutin from the word balot which means wrap. Every time a Filipino go to a birthday party (or any party) he/she will surely wraps food from the party and bring them home for his/her loved ones. This is the theme in that ad.

That singing lady was supposedly Sharon Cuneta, Philippines’ “Megastar”. The song is her original, the OST of the movie with the same title “Bituing Walang Ningning” where she was the lead actress. You should watch it too. It’s a story of a fangirl (Sharon) who became the rival of her idol in both career and ❤. Sounds corny, but it was well executed. The movie was a hit and made the “copy cat” scene the most iconic line in Ph’s movie history.
