Well now I have yer another thing to unpack with that movie "Hard Candy" with Ellen Page.
If you havent seen the movie, watch it. Its about a girl who lures a suspected pedo into a trap. Not saying what all happens because spoilers.
I always associated the title with kids liking candy and that the MC played by Ellen was tough for a child. But seeing this short made me realize that whoever came up with the title and plot of this movie HAD to be part of the deep web CP problem. And I make such a connection because Ellen Page talked about her experiences behind the scenes and they're disturbing. She was SA during the production by someone working on the film. (Can't remember who, or even if she mentioned their title).
Hollywood is hell on earth. No wonder she's not mentally well thsse days. She doesn't even look physically okay either. Older than she really is. I hope she finds the peace she needs in her life.😢
