Is there an easy way to determine the value of the capacitors? Obviously, I could use a capacitor meter to test it if it were not blown, but how do I find the value of a defective capacitor? Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

An LG led TV 42 inch. Got this TV yesterday. There vertical lines on the screen. The LG logo appears on screen and gone.
I have check the t con board. All voltage seems present and good but. The ribbon cables looks heat in the middle. I change it but it seems to me there is a heat on the left on tcon. Near 2 regulators. The vdda should be 5v-9v. But it 16vls.
For me it's seems to me there is a voltage is not normal that's why the left ribbon cable heat up.
The 2 regulators am saying 1 seems has no voltage on both legs. But the midlle pins has 0.4.

I remove 1 ribbon cable from tcon seems half screen is OK the lines gone.
When put it back and removes the other ribbon cable all screen comes with lines.

I spent 3 hours to understand what could be the problem. But for me it seems the regulator is faulty.
I have check on Google the model written on it but nothing found.
I check some store here but they said need to replace a new tcon.

Don't know what to do.
All voltage seems OK.
12vlts is present.

Not sure if I replace a new tcon and that doesn't work.
Will make a great lost.

Mr. tevz i have a 50 inches samasung which is the led light is bad, but after changing it, it now draw a thin line from up to down at the center of the tv set, What can i do to get rid of that thin line?? Thanks.

I have samsung C32F391FW curve monitor that makes a rattling sound on the main board with dark screen with lights on but when I disconnect the T-com, no changes at all. The rattling sound stop when I unplugged the backlight pin on the MB. Can you kindly help

Sir how do we know the value of replaced smd capstr....

This job would be much quicker and nicer performed with a hot air station, cleaning with solder wick and reworking with solder paste. This works and in some places this is the common way of doing things, but this is far from being a good job. Also don't clean residue scraping the board, use some IPA or contact cleaner.
