Honestly, influencers are just getting gross to me. Complaining about what free gifts you’re getting while people are living paycheck to paycheck is insufferable. Read the room, most of us cannot afford one of those bracelets on our own, and you’re complaining about not getting them for free.

Tarte should start sending PR to “regular people” who actually use there products. I understand that influencers have thousands of followers so more people see their product but it would make me want to buy something more when I see a non influencer loving a product.

I’ve also always assumed that Tarte is doing this to create FOMO. Like, not only might influencers from different areas of the internet starting using tarte as a way to get on their PR list, but I also think much smaller influencers or even kids might buy tarte and give positive reviews as a long shot way to maybe get on the PR list and on these trips. I remember my older sister used to walk around the mall in certain sets of clothes from different stores on the off chance the store would ask her to model for them, because it was well known their models got a ton of free stuff and could go on trips with the company, etc. this just feels like the same thing

How about send normal people who buy your products who’d never be able to experience a trip like that on their own.
