Hollywood PANICS as FREE STREAMING ratings HIGHER than PAID STREAMING, even NETFLIX!

Free TV is having its revenge and that's a big problem for Hollywood. YouTube has taken the throne as the top streamer on TV, beating Netflix. And free, ad-supported TV services like Fox's Tubi and Paramount's Pluto TV, where people can watch content ranging from older reruns like "The Jeffersons" to newer titles like "Scandal," have taken off.

Since 2015, we've watched almost no new shows because there's so much is either outright garbage or subject matter we have zero interest in. There's thousands and thousands of hours of great older movies and older shows. It would be easy for any family to never watch new shows, probably for years.

I used to like Netflix, AMC, Hulu, and other streaming services, especially Disney, until they became "woke" and started showing feminist and alphabet community programs. I don't understand why Netflix can't just put these "woke" programs under a gay television tab option on their site. If you want to watch them, you could go there and watch. I used to watch movies from Hollywood to escape from reality; it was a form of escapism for me. Now, Hollywood is infiltrated with the alphabet plus community, and I don’t like it, so I can't watch it anymore. They should at least give you an option for what you want to watch.

People have always preferred free entertainment, but with streaming, you're paying for content you can't own! They give you your own library, but they can alter and remove content anytime they want.

Fox Corporation, the parent company of Tubi, paid just $440 million dollars 💰 for Tubi. Fox got the last laugh, while Disney+ seems to be going down the sewer. 😃👍

Free streamers have ads so they've been avoided. Paid streamers now have ads. Free streamers run good tv from the past. Paid streamers run whatever they think they can force you to watch, like "message" shows.
It's always a little exciting seeing an industry shook up, it's rare though, usually it's like banking where politicians intervene with taxpayer money and any legislation needed to keep things as is, because we only talk about competition in America.

I have been paying close attention for over a decade and viewers have continually bellowed their wants and wishes.
But with heads in hind-ends, providers have demanded that viewers accept what is given without complaint or criticism!
Those who provided one-way viewing cannot handle the multi-directional instantaneous communication of today
which has given customers an equal voice for the first time in modern society.
Personally, I cannot fathom ever returning to ad-based appointment viewing.
It is a model of dronehood and zombification, and very likely at least partially responsible
for the vast surplus of stupidity and the mess and morass that western nations currently are mired in!

Don’t get me wrong, I would watch Netflix, AMC, Disney, and pay for streaming if they just brought back quality TV shows and movies without the woke agenda and identity politics being forced on viewers. They need to return to the type of shows they produced before 2015, and I would be willing to pay a premium price for the streaming service if they did.

Lot's of people glorifying old TV shows. May I offer for your consideration, OLD RADIO shows. Gunsmoke, Jack Benny, fibber MCgee and molly, There is even old Superhero radio shows, so many options, thousands of hours. Many/Most of the old TV shows were imports from OLD Radio shows. The TV shows were popular because the product was already solid before the transfer. Good Stuff out there.... and its ALL available online for no commercials, except the ones built into the shows when they were made, which to me is as much of a treat as listening to the show itself.

I gave up on cable when it became commercials and infomercials, the same show on multiple channels, the same show episodes repeated, gave up on Netflix when it went woke and got rid of all the shows and movies I liked

This is terrifying to me personally because I currently have more money than time, so I will circumvent ads whenever possible. Ad support free streaming is one thing, but paid standard tier forcing ads too is disgusting
