I finally could sample this one and I immediately felt in love with it. Wonderful and kind of masculine interpretation of a vanilla fragrance. I also tried the other two fragrances from their "absolutes" line: Vanille Charnelle which is also very nice but a much more sweet and feminine vanilla, and finally 101 oud, that was a classic almost unwearable oud think of a situation where this fragrance could fit properly.

I am trying out a sample of this. Really love it! Vanilla, smoky leather sweet soft patchouli. Thats what i pick up. Im not afraid to wear this at all! Helping my nose develope if you will. Very very lovely. Mot for everyone...but something a refined nose would appreciate. ✌

One of the best recent Vanilla based fragrances I've tried is Opus Unum. Try it, I'm sure you'll like it.

I have a girl friend she like this very much. She feels cozy and relax smelling. But i dont like it because it smells like long haired puppy to me. Well your review makes me want to go the store to sniff it again. Most of the Malaysian doesn't like Amber smells. The girl friend is rare in Malaysia haha. At least she understands my feeling when I said sandalwood is cozy and relax for me.

Interesting fragrance. I purchased a couple Annick Goutal fragrances for gal pals and I didn't really care for them...they were okay, but they didn't Wow! me. Of course, the gal pals loved 'em so that's all that matters. Still, they were quality scents so I'll have to check this one out. Appreciate the review.
