This is fantastic I love the stretched saturation mask. I have many photos where the cloud area is very bland, this technique really seems to open up an avenue to get a usable starting point! Well played sir. What I have learned from these tutorials is that Affinity Photo does not seem to make use of all the cores available in the computer. When doing the maths (applying the equations), I watched my CPU usage and thought it would max out to 100% but it never went over 15% on my I7 8700k chip. I hope someone in the Affinity coding group can look into this because I seem to have a lot of wasted power here!!

Very nice. I actually tried to create a macro to capture the equaitions but the latest AP on MAC keeps crashing during the macro recording :(
Can you recommend reading to learn more about apply image and equations - I'm looking for not only cookbook operations but theory of operations of the equations features
