When I ruptured my Achilles all I did was step out from the free throw line to grab a rebound. Man did that hurt. Only a 45 min surgery but months of rehab. Totally sucks

I’ve seen Giannis’ leg bend backwards, and he was back in a week. I’m hoping he’ll get back soon 🙏

Giannis is the most inspiring and my favorite basketball player. Literally grew up on the streets and now he's here. There is no one more deserving of the fruits of his hard work and modesty. I hope he gets better soon :(

Whenever I see “Brian Sutterer uploaded a new video” as a notification it’s a funny feeling. I love Doctor Brian and love seeing his take on what happens but also he can only make a video when someone gets hurt which is obviously sad and upsetting so it’s a delicate balance of emotions.

When KD experienced this type of freak injury against the Raps in the finals you'd hardly have known it happened. He was dribbling and just dropped the ball and fell over.

when you think about it Achilles was fictional so they should rename it the Giannis tendon after a real Greek legend

I remember KD had a “minor” leg injury then had Achilles unjury. Hope it’s not the case with Giannis 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Didn’t he just come back from a hamstring strain? Could they be connected? Maybe over compensating? 🤔

We had an athlete suffer a Plataris Rupture (and yes, ask the surgeon's PA, I called it) and we had him back, full-go, full strength in ~2 weeks. His pain was approx at that musclo-tendinous junction, but deep. Was a fairly narrow area that the athlete themselves had difficulty locating.
