The old guard is still present ! Michael Matthews and Rudy Molard I respectively 34 and 35, and still present at this high level. Very admirable !

Always happy to see one of the old dogs win, bravo Michael.

And man, Pog is like that braveheart greyhound that jumps in the pit with the pitbulls and buldogs and staffordshires every single time although he knows his chances of winning are zero…😂😂 Dude just loves to be in the fight.

Wow. A 300m full in the wind sprint win from Matthews. Very impressive against this field.

one of the most interesting sprints this year- big mix of riders, chaotic but without crashing or reckless riding.

Opening shot is in Montréal, not in Québec lol

Remarkably well-behaved crowds. The riders didn't have to fight them, too.

Powless freelancing to ninth in a bunch sprint. He shook his head, but with his build, power profile, and lack of a leadout, I think he can be happy about that. Here's hoping this is a burst of late-season form that sees him take another win or two before the season's out.

The most impressive for me was Bauke Mollema finishing 6th!

I was there and it was actually quite hot. It was around 32 C, feels like 34 C with the humidity.

The first view of the city at the start is not Quebec city… It’s Montreal with Jacques-Cartier bridge (you can use this view on the race of sunday 😂)
