My brain initially interpreted this as an alternative to playing GT7, I was about start swinging fists!

So this is a gear video. The title mislead me into thinking that this was about an alternative to GT7.

Edit: Thank you Steve for changing the title! It is now crystal clear.

I think this isn’t the video the title says

A lot of comments not noticing the difference between "for" and "to" ... and to be fair, with AC Evo just out, yeah, I can see why people might just assume ...

So.. is this better than your fanatec setup? Was expecting at least a direct comparison and not a straight advertisement

🤞Hopefully this will allow better than 6th place finishes

I've just made the mistake of "upgrading" from my Logi G923 to a TB VelocityOne.
If anyones looking at the TurtleBeach VelocityOne Wheel, dont.

SuperGT I think you set the time stamps to your AC EVO review

I started off with a Moza set up, then went DD Pro just to race in GT7. Don't get me wrong, I love my DD Pro (8nm), but if I knew I had a choice I would have stayed with my Moza R12 set up. So this cortex gadget is really interesting to me. Thanks for showing us that it works, Steve.

Adding the haptics to the P2000's was a literal game changer for me. The feedback from ABS alone improved my times everywhere.

GIMX adapter and drivehub... And use all sim racing gear on GT7. I use HE Sprints and Asetek LaPrima base with PE Hyp-R wheel. Telemetry and screen works like a charm, including Simagic pedal heptic's. Bonus, you can map the buttons as you want and uses GT DD compatibility.

Funny timing on this. Watching your videos has continuously nudged me towards building a sim rig after trying out a few at different places. I've been eying the Simagic stuff so this is appreciated.

Great review - the more options the better for consumers in this space. Now 400 points in GTWS exhibition please 😛🍻

I have the Alpha, P1000's and the GT Neo upgraded from a G29. I love it.

The encoders do work. You just have to adjust some settings in GT7. Go to the "other buttons" on the DD pro wheel. The top right changes to MFD selection right, bottom right change to MFD selection left. Top left change to MFD adjustment up. Bottom left change to MFD adjustment down. On the GT Neo now the top right encoder will switch between the MFD pages. And the top left encoder will adjust the settings on each page.

I’ve been running this setup for ACC for 6 months. Love it

These devices can disconnect from the ps5 during a long race at random.

It’s harrowing to know you’re using something like this not knowing.

Since you have a PC next to you, you might want to look into adding haptics to your pedals. Fairly easy to set up, and being able to feel traction loss under braking or wheel spin under throttle is almost like cheating. You'd need Simhub to control the motors (hence the comment about the PC) since that's not possible directly through the PS5, but Simhub also opens up the world of button LED profiles, more haptics like bass shakers, etc, and yes, it can all work with the PS5. Unfortunately, as of now, Simhub cannot control the FX Pro screen, but if/when it can, you'll also be able to use the FX Pro screen with PS5 as well.

I'm gonna keep waiting for the Simagic Alpha Evo coming later this year (they're aiming for proper console compatibility without the Sigma Cortex)
