Quidel QuickVue At-Home OTC COVID-19 Test Kit is intended for the qualitative detection of the nucleocapsid protein antigen from SARS-CoV-2 from individuals with or without symptoms or other epidemiological reasons to suspect COVID-19. This test is authorized for nonprescription home use with self-collected direct anterior nasal swab specimens from individuals aged 14 years and older or with adult-collected anterior NS samples from individuals aged 2 years or older.

These are very accurate tests. I tested positive with this test and then went and got Covid tested at the doctor and tested positive shortly thereafter.

If you don't swab your nose properly, would you get a blue line or no line?

You might want to check for quality control, since many of the tubes arrive empty or almost empty.

I can't either of the two tubes open that came with my kit. I tried using my hands and using Chanellock pliers with no success. Frustrating.

So what if there's a pink line right next to the black strip just above the testing area that was in the tube? Mines pink but not anywhere close to the area it should show pink at.
