In Japan the coffee cups are small. I think its an Asian thing that relates to not over eating or over indulgence. Not so much about saving money.

I just got back to the USA after spending 3 months in Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia. I also wondered about why the coffee cups are so small. My husband seems to think it’s because the coffee is much stronger there. 👍🏼 ☕️
