i have exactly the same goldish-rusty-ugly old hinge. 1 of 3 is broken and i was trying to picture in my mind how to remove door, put it back, and all that without hurting my fingers... this seems like the genius method and am upset at myself for not thinking of that. I will be replacing all 3 ultimately because want all of them of the same color. Thank you!!!

Have a question my door hing are tight but door leaves little open gap to cover on the opposite side where little air goes through, anything I can stop from filling the gap?
