i believe the first gen X series were the first sundown to have the mega-roll surround and it was a hemispherical design, that switched to an elliptical shape roll for the Zv4

The baskets are Not hand stamped in the the only USA thing deal with it is that it’s assembled in USA. Further more as long as you have strict QC standards you can get amazing product made to your spec overseas. This isn’t 1950 anymore

All I want is a lightweight 15” under 30lbs that’s got a lower Fs. 3” coil. At minimum 30mm xmax. Not as deep as this sub. Big push terminals.

As far as specs, would they perform skmilar in a ported enclosure on 6k rms.

neo is not more motor force. It's more per pound yes, but not in general. Neo saturates faster than ferrite. It starts loosing charge at 300 degrees. All neo is supposed to be used for is space constrictions. Choose more careful words, less you give someone the wrong information. Bad info is rampant in car audio. Dont contribute to that
