I just came back. Most beautiful beach I’ve ever seen. Water was warm and crystal clear.

One of the most beautiful places I have ever visited. The sunset cruise is something that can only be experienced and can’t be put into words. I can’t wait to go back.

That scene at about 30-32 seconds in looked like a post card. Man that's beautiful. You could spray paint that on a t-shirt.

Been to Boracay 3 times, one of the greatest sands, pristine beach to swim with calm water facing directly to sunset, extensive night life, with budget options and also places to splash. Only thing is not too much marine life or corals in the region. But truly a great beach destination.

I visited Boracay back in the year 2000, for New Years, where there were literally 3 guesthouses on the island. It was so quiet and peaceful. Within 15 years I had heard the island was overrun with international and local tourists and they had to close it down because of the pollution. Glad to see they cleaned things up and taking cleanliness more seriously

I remember my first visit in the 80’s, Boracay was almost like a “virgin” beach. From Kalibo airport, we took a 2 hour ride to Caticlan and paid only the boat fee. No environmental fee. The best thing is, the boat dropped us off right on the beach, along the station where we stayed. there were very few accommodation, mostly cottages then. If I remember it right, it was only Le Soleil that was a hotel-like accommodation and it was a very small hotel then. Casa Pilar, La Carmela already existed but they were also small, and few other resorts. they were all very affordable. There was only one bar, no atms, very few restaurants, no fastfood. Very few people on the beach. The Only vendors were those selling fresh coconut. Pristine, cool, white sand. I have revisited 6 times over the years and each time, the place has gotten more busy, crowded, modern and expensive. But I will keep coming back. It’s beauty is really worth visiting.

My wife and I visited in 2017. It was gorgeous. Truly a paradise. As long as you stayed on the beaches on the resort side of the island. It’s crazy and a bit sad the squalor the locals lived in, literally across the street from the resorts. Hopefully it got better after the government shut it down to update and clean the place.

Went about 15 years ago, one of the most beautiful beaches on Earth and I remember the sunsets with the sailing boat silhouetted against the background, absolutely stunning!

Can’t believe how much this has changed. One man and his dog was only there 26 years ago. Nice Island it was

Bohol is much better. People don't realize how tiny Boracy is. I lived in Bohol and you have an entire island to explore with lots of activities and places to go. Chocolate hills, monarch butterfly farm, several waterfalls, Lubbock river cruise, all the beaches and nightlife, you can rent a motorcycle and go around, there are two malls with theaters and plenty of good restaurants.

I visited Boracay in 1995 & it was still pristine, quite & many Europeans visit the place. I was there in 2023 & the place is over crowded & loud. Now it is full of local tourist & still you can see some foreigners. Boracay has come a long way!!

At least it has remained relatively family friendly. If i can afford to visit or live there, it's nothing to complain.

Of course it's crowded because it is very popular, and Boracay is one of the beautiful beaches in the whole world!
If you hate crowds, go to the most pristine beach in Palawan, the Balabac island.

Went in 2013 and 2 years later shut it - great memories and never as busy as this - glad I went when I did.

I like to swim/snorkel and I didn't see one fish in Borakay. Too touristy for me. Had some problems also with hotel but made a good friend with security guard, locals are nice
