Wayward rocket slams into moon | Morning in America

A wayward rocket likely just collided with the far side of the moon early this morning. Experts say they don't know exactly where the space junk hit the moon just yet, but the 3-4 ton rocket did create a sizable crater.

Right. It definitely "accidently" flew 240, 000 miles out into the middle of space and hit the FAR side of the moon that is facing AWAY from earth..

Uh yeah a rocket second stage went over 250, 000 miles and hit the far side of the moon. Even if they were aiming for it, the moon barely has enough mass to keep a satellite in orbit, much less an errant second stage propelled away from it. If they weren't aiming for it that's a helluva lucky shot.
