Nulgaths Birthday, What Went Wrong?

Nulgaths birthday event happened, it was not great and all we really got was the new class that 99% of all players will never obtain. Sadly thats about all we got with a few AC only items. I dont know what happened but im sad. And this is coming from a pretty vocal fan of Miltonius' work

I am glad I didn't buy a one year member, after Black Friday everything had been lack luster in my opinion. I look up Nulgath birthday last year he got his own shop and pretty cool item some are not even AC or mem. Some of them have 0 cost which mean it was free for some time.

void highlord is amazing after finishing the whole grind a month ago it's pretty much my go-to solo-pvp class. But I do agree with alot of what you said.

i agreed to what all you said, the event before is ok and has a nulgath story which is great, but this event? it focuses on the laken saga? thats should be intended for dage's birthday. it really shows that they dont care for nulgath anymore. they should have released the oversoul story instead, it would be ok even if its just a half part of it they dont need to update the story that much.

I've drawn my own conclusion from watching this video, and it'd be great if you could read it as well, explaining at why even though I'm ignoring this release as well, it feels justified:

AE already mentioned a few times before how the high level fanbase was getting left out, as most of its releases appeal to low to mid level players, which the majority of players aren't. (they did a twitter poll a few weeks ago asking for player level range, and around 70-80% were at the level cap already)

True, there are the ultra hardcore farmers who make up 1% of the "level cap player club". Then there are the new players.

AE has a limited staff, they can't multitask on too many things at once. While I believe that the amount of releases tailored to new players is too much vs releases tailored to the majority of level 65 casual players who aren't getting enough (casual content, but mobs put up a fight) isn't well balanced, the nulgath content for the ultra hardcore farmers is.

Missing out on one release per year to tailor to that 1% is probably just the right amount imo, considering the efficiency of the AE team.

(however I do dislike chance drop quests like this and the blade of awe, I'd be rather off farming the BLoD than farm this. Also I agree with you in that the class is pretty mediocre in terms of its requirements)
