I know this is an older video- but I 100% agree on doing your best to avoid Cipro. I got it prescribed after getting bad food poisoning that l was hospitalized for (I think the food poisoning is what caused my SIBO). I only took Cipro for 1 day before getting bad side effects and stopped it immediately after reaching out to my provider- and I still have Achilles tendon pain and stiffness in the mornings almost 4 years later- something I never had before. Many others have had much worse effects too.

So thank you for warning your viewers about this- I wish it had been something I realized years ago.

I know it is an old video, but i wanted to say that I have been taking oregano pills for 6-7 months now for methane Sibo and very constipated still. Herbal meds might work for some quick, but others might need more time to heal.

How about Silvercillin by design for health? Great video btw! I am hydrogen dominant SIBO & I am just out of options since I tried herbal treatments & my last route is Xifaxan. I am quite scared of Xifaxan since it has such discouraging stories on how things got worse. Before I start Xifaxan I wanted your opinion on Silvercillin. I began GutPro probiotics & that helped my stools greatly; the only SIBO symptom I have currently is tremendous amount of huge bloat everyday. What would you do? Thanks!

I was put on neomycin for my SIBO (and just that even though I have methane and hydrogen) and had to stop bc it made me even more sick. I’m scared to try Xifaxan bc 1) I can’t swallow the pill (it’s huge) and 2) I read the majority of people on it were sicker on it and it didn’t really help. I don’t know what to do!! I just want to feel better (had to leave my job I became so sick). 😭

Rifaximin + allicin, if we are very bad. And continue with candibactin

Kflex worked wonders for me but unfortunately it came back. Rifaximin didn't work for me at all

last year, 2 doctors gave me multi-spectrum antibiotics for this infection i had in my it gave me sibo. antibiotics did NOTHING and made it worse. going to my 3rd doctor now, just waiting. i'm trying the elemental diet while im waiting since i cannot eat but
