This bug seems to be fixed by FL now ver 12.3 and above, just be sure if your loading the shell to use a plugin fx in excel, go to plugins then "effects" from the installed plugins then down to waveshell, and if a synth etc, go to plugins, installed and use installed "generators".

Just an update, seems I missed some comments here (sorry), the only way to make it work that I found is to load it as an effect and then use a midi out plug, set the effect midi in channel, and rout midi out to the effect channel. Not sure why they have not fixed it yet. They have known about it for more than 3 years now.

The only thing that I've heard works is add, scan & verify, then it's a go from instruments.  But you have to redo it EVERY TIME you open and close the program.  Something about it being in 64 bit.  It's a hassle, but such a nice instrument.  Unless you can track down Waves/FL shell program that works with the instruments the same way their effects plugin shell works ( which works perfectly ).

Also, once you do the above and get it to load up in a channel as an instrument ( and not in FX ), you can save the it in there as a project loop, then it should load up every time you load that loop project, without have to re-scan & verify.

Yes. Load vst3 to common files vst3. Throw it in programs x86/waves/plugin or waveshell. Run u know and move back to common files/vsr3.

Why not use the midi out! Push the gear on the Element window and pick  (input port 1) and pick midi out in your channels ad one; midi out port 1. I think that you'll be satisfied with the results. Duh!
