Very lovely area. Have just bought an old farmhouse to restore and extend a couple of miles from this house. Great for hiking and at about 750 metres very much cooler than on the surrounding plains. Interested to hear that property is cheaper in this area of Umbria. To build a house this size would cost approximately one million euros today. Quite the bargain!

My goodness.... this is very bizarre, there's probably a very fascinating story behind this obviously sudden desertion. House is gorgeous of course and a bargain for what you get and the solid condition it's in.
