How Long Can I Survive Halo 3 ODST's Legendary Firefight?

Hello, BOYS (and the 1.7% female portion of my audience), for this video I decided to see how long I can survive playing ODST's firefight mode on Legendary difficulty. I played on Alpha Site because it's my favorite map.

The scoreboard in the thumbnail is photoshop because the real scoreboard was low quality, but that was an actual score I had at one point in the game so yeah. #NotClickbait

I feel like if you read my video descriptions from my first few videos and compare them to now, it's probably solid evidence of my declining sanity.

The way they executed firefight in this game was absolutely great. A halo horde mode was perfect for this game. I just wish it was recreated in a more similar way in future games

Vidmaster Endure was the one achievement I could never get. You did an incredible job in this run. Also Alpha Site is the best map; no contest.

Back in the day my brother was friends with CMNeir and would often help him make his videos.

He would occasionally let me play with him while they were filming. I have a memory burned in my brain of trying to get that firefight achievement

Everyone was dead except me, and it was the last round before we got more lives (we had 0 lives). Being like, 11 at the time, the pressure to perform was enormous, and I wanted my brother to take my controller. He refused to take it, and I spent the next 30 minutes sweating my butt off trying to do everything I could to stay alive

I survived, and we were able to get the achievement. I’ll always be grateful my brother not only included me in stuff like that, but also pushed me to be better. Fun times.

This game is absolutely legendary. The unique enemies their weaknesses, and just the way they don't act like a total npc. They can actually dodge stuff

11:45 there is a captain in the bottom right (just under the sign) that sticks you before you backsmack another one.
ODST firefight has been my favourite iteration of firefight, being slightly weaker and smaller makes the stakes feel so much bigger

Endure was the second to last vidmaster we completed. I remember getting constantly bombarded by friend requests after completing all the vidmasters and unlocking the recon helmet. I proudly wore it in every matchmaking lobby but I quickly found out every single kid is gonna see it and beg that you drop everything and help them do it too. Every time I played BtB it meant at least 1 or 2 friend requests and maybe a message. Still never switched helmets though.

Ah a frog after my own taste. We share the same favorite ODST firefight map! I am impressed! This is the map i got the vid master achievement on back in the day. Man would it be great to go back

Firefight has what other horde based shooters don’t…. satisfying metals and points that make you feel all happy inside

With skulls turned on (especially ODST) your best bet is to committing to back smacking the brutes. Majority of the time if you get close to them they'll stop shooting and charge you (It's doable with multiple charging you too). Plasma and pistol is also great too but close quarters just commit to back smacks.

Also would love to see a SLASO playthrough on a mission or content! I bet you'd make a crazy video on it. Love the content!

Lost Platoon is my favorite. Love driving the chopper. Just got back into Halo MCC as I just found out about the flood being added to ODST firefight. Need to find more people for that achievement too.
