Damn, if this band lasted past the mid 1980s, I think in an alternate timeline where this band never broke up, Eric Fournier would've transitioned the band's sound from punk rock to hard rock, sludge metal, and grunge by the late 80s or early 90s since this song gives me old school 80s grunge vibes. The Blood Farmers would've been up there with Alice in Chains and Nirvana possibly. Maybe Young and Restless would have become popular for its 1950s meets punk styled sound. I could see the Blood Farmers and Eric performing today and being placed into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. But at the same time, I could see Eric not being a fan of his music around the 1990s, kind of like Kurt Cobain before he passed, wanting to live a normal life away from the public eye with a family of his own. I bet in that scenario Eric would make one last album with his band in 1993 or 1995 and then announce his retirement from public life, getting married and having his first child or something along those lines soon after. I can imagine Eric still being interviewed and making guest appearances throughout the years, but only on some occasions since he would have wanted to get his mind off being famous at some point. Nonetheless, people would still look up to him and listen to his music, even if he is inactive in the music industry. In a world where Shaye Saint John doesn't exist and whatnot, I bet either one of these scenarios would be fitting
