Isn't the rear suspension adjustable? I'm curious whether or not you adjusted the compression damping to your liking, prior to the ride? Perhaps that would have made for a less harsh ride over rough patches of road?

Thank you for an honest review. I'm so bored with vloggers telling me what kind of food they ate during this press release or the tents they slept in. Oh and I get it...Indian gives you a bunch of freebies when you go on these. No vlogger has had any complaint except ground clearance that I've seen. Other than this review I haven't seen anything I believed to be honest. Thanks Adam!!

Could we maybe talk about how the definition of “commute” is being bent quite a bit these days? Kinda thought this show was better when it wasn’t press launchs. I feel like what made this show special was that it was about living with a bike on a normal commute. A press launch ride I feel is the antithesis of this. I personally avoid press release videos for this reason.

A balanced review of Indian Chief that I have seen in youtube. Not at all a fan boy review. I did a short test ride and got the same feeling about the throttle response and the vibration as mentioned here. Hopefully, Indian will have a Darkhorse in that beautiful Ruby Red next year.

Being from the other side of the pond i always struggled with the reasoning why anyone would buy a cruiser, feet forward, floor boards etc, looking at your roads, miles and miles of straights and relatively strict speed limits it sort of makes sense now.

The "moving it back and forth" thing? Moving the throttle forward when it's at "throttle closed" position actually is how you cancel your cruise control without hitting the brake or clutch.

A lot of 'riders' who will buy this bike only care how it looks at the coffee shop when they pull in to polish the chrome. $1499 extra for white paint ? Can buy a nice custom paint job for that. This bike does look good .

Don't know why Indian doesnt start naming their lead bikes after real chief's from history. They are missing out on an advertising opportunity.
