Trolls MADE Me Do It

When you succumb to the trolls of the internet, you add j hooks to your rebar embedded into concrete. Anyone know what we are doing?

Push a bowl in there first then take it out and then put the steel in so it’s recessed.

First slip a link of big chain onto this. Now you can weld other end of chain to your generator or other object so it doesn't walk away.

I think you should have put it in without the bend on the legs ……. Unless I am mistaken this is the temp tie back you did outside the building. Then later you could show if it holds up when you go to pull it out

Should have put it in upside down so a full loop was in there!!

Now that it wasn't put in before completely poured - you should turn it 45° - 90°

That's a cheap trap to hold down your foot while walking and a lawn mower blade trap too.
But it doesn't matter that much. Give it some years in a non-desert climate (the lawn is green, that's the perfect weather there) and it will rust down to nothing. Yes, that needs more than just 3 years, more like 30 or so. You have time to make a new one ;-)

This is just a simple counterweight, and when used with the long chain holds the wall in check of plumb,

All these wanna bees would remember “Anchor Canterbury Theory” from Applied Engineering 101 which states the longer the chairman at a lower angle of decent results in less weight of anchor or counterweight needed.
