This is an amazing song by Errol Brown.
Thats no Lie (Emmalene) is part of the album "Secret Rendezvous" which was released in 1992.
There is a rumor floating around on the web as to what made Errol write this song.
Here is what I found from some forums (we do not know if this is true).

****************
In the beginning of the 90's Errol Brown with Hot Chocolate were very famous.
One day in the beginning of December of '91 Errol sees a girl on the cover of a magazine.
He falls in love with her and he decides to meet her.
He calls the magazine and asks info for the model on the cover.
They tell him her name is Emmalene and works for the "......" model agency.
After that Errol wrote her a letter and told her about the feelings he had for her.
In this letter he told her to call him so they can meet..
He sends the letter to the agency anonymously and waits for her response.
A couple of days pass by and he gets no response from her.
Errol decides to use his publicity and his name just to meet her.
So a week later, he calls the agency and says: "Hello I'm Errol Brown and I'm making a new videoclip and I would like to hire the girl on the cover of that magazine for my new video.
I think her name is Emmalene, can you send her in tomorrow for an interview?".
Errol got the following response: "That's impossible Mr Brown", so when he asks "Why?" he gets the following answer: "She committed suicide 4 days ago".
Due to what happened the song was written in just three days.
It was produced in January of '92 and in February of '92 Emmalene was released.
In memory of Emmalene...

Now the above story does make some sense but we do not know for sure if it actually happened.
If someone can back it up with some sort of evidence post your comment.
Hope you like the beautiful photos I put together.

***** LYRICS *****
I saw your face in the magazine
The smile just like the sun
Took me back to times gone by
When our love began
But I never knew the truth
Oh, till you were gone

I'll never find another you
This world's just not the same
And each and every thought of you
Still fills my heart with pain
Oh, Emma-Emmalene, Star of my silver screen
Emma-Emmalene...

No, that's no lie, There's nothing new
This broken heart of mine still missing you
Oh, that's no shame, No one to blame
No one can ever take the place of you...mmm...

I read your letter all the time
And every word you say
Brings back that cold december night
That took your life away
How to live I never knew
In this world without you

You had the face of a beauty queen
You were my movie star
You were the best I've ever seen
The very best by far
Oh, Emma-Emmalene, Star of my silver screen
Emma-Emmalene...

No, that's no lie, There's nothing more
And nothing left for me worth living for
Oh, that's no shame, No one to blame
Without you life will never be the same...

No, that's no lie, I'm missing you
This broken heart of mine still loving you
Oh, that's no shame, No one to blame
Without you life will never be the same...
My Emmalene...

The first “Emma, Emmalene” was released in ‘74, written by Errol & Tony Wilson.

This release is later.
The first release, as well as this release, possess such beautiful, haunting lyrics & melody:

To follow up years later with “That’s No Lie, Emmalene”, does seemingly prove that Errol Brown had a connection with his deceased Muse. I would’ve loved to have heard an interview of this unique & phenomenal musician on these awesome songs.
R.I.P. Dear Errol 🎶🥰🎶🕊🥀🕊
