JUNE 2022 Bullet Journal Setup PLAN WITH ME Part 1 ☀️CHILE THEME 🇨🇱

We're here! Halfway through the year and time to plan for June, the last month in my current Bullet Journal. Researching Chile was amazing and what a place to discover. I would really love to get there in person one day - there are so many natural wonders to see! The design of the spreads this month is a bit different than usual, I was trying to get a bit more interest in the layouts rather than just the illustrations and felt super inspired by the colours and contrast of the country. I usually don't care for this style of art BUT I found I really liked the color palette and the last page where the people were left without color but everything else in color. They really stood out! Opened my eyes to new ideas - thanks.

Always fantastic images you create. I loved the cover page with the landscapes. It was cool to see how you used your colored pencils, especially the light colored ones over your acrylic paint. I wish there was a way to put all of my acryclic paint into paint markers. I just like holding the markers more than paintbrushes, but those darn broad point paint markers are expensive. I started listening to Ruin. Wait you're onto a new book already.

Huemul it's pronounced like "wemul". It is so amazing to see my country trough your eyes! your details are amazing! I love that you used the word "bacan" on the cober page, it is a very used word, specially above my generation (mid and late 30' years old). Terremoto has vecome a very popular drink the las decade specially, but it is not necesarily our "national drink", I think it was invented after the big earthquake of 2010, it is really sweet, but very powerful, as it don't taste strong so people tend to drink a little more. Pastel de Choclo is one of our traditional dishes, mostly eaten in summer (corn harvest season), and it is more like a shepher's pie, but wiht a paste made out of ground corn, a bit of onion, basil leaves and sometimes with a bit of "ají verde" (a yellowish chile), instead of mushed potatoes. It is coated with sugar, that melts in the oven, and it is a very interesting mix of flavors. Empanadas are a lot more traditional, and they are the must have meal in our national hollidays, as well as asado.
I loved the color combination and the triangular shapes aswell. Despite our VERY diverse weathers and landscapes, the mountains, Cordillera de los Andes, is very predominant. culturally speaking. If you ask a child to draw anythig (their house, their vacations, a ranom scape) there's always the mountains in the backgroud, even if they are not visible where you leave. I live by the coast. I can have breakfast by the beach and be at the mountains for lunch, and that's pretty cool ;)

Excited for the video! I literally just started bullet journaling yesterday and am already loving it! Love the creative outlet and that it helps me think through my thoughts!
