In Book one Gulliver leaves Lilliput on a boat that he found stranded on the shore and a few miles away from the shores of Blefuscu, gets rescued by an English merchant ship and returns to London. Two months later, his insatiable desire to visit foreign lands intrigues him to get aboard another ship named Adventure. After a few weeks at sea and dealing with multiple storms, Adventure gets pushed to the shores of a strange island. Gulliver fails to return to the ship on time and his crewmates depart without him. Soon he realizes that he is all alone in the country of giants. What follows is a one of a kind adventure that Johnathan Swift masterfully relays in the second book from the Gulliver's Travels series, named A Voyage to Brobdingnag.
