Nicely done! I should be natural at this. I wreck every nice project I ever tried.

Did the same thing. Using a propane hand torch. (But also did the spray paint method before). 👍👍👍👍

When you spray with your sprayer, how much water to paint do you cut the Sherwin Williams Biscuit White?

Will it still look like that if you're working with a table that already has a wood look my question is do you have to use a spray paint

Out of curiosity what does the paste wax do? I've never done any distressing but getting ready to try and I'm using your steps for advice but curious of what the paste wax does. I'm guessing it gives it the sheen look you had

These shorts are great and educational, but every time I see you have a new video, I get excited and think it's a new *build*.

Ha! - I guess it'll take some getting used to?😉 - Great tip, btw - about the past wax at the end! I'll definitely have to give that a try, as I'm often left thinking my finished projects look to... *dull* - for a lack of a better word at the moment.

I'm making a tongue and groove clock that's 60in in diameter. I've been procrastinating on the finish because I'm afraid I'll screw it up. I prepped it all for finishing with 180 grit. Is that too smooth for this?

Most carpentry stuff on here is pretty basic, typical homeowner level stuff but that was class. Definitely going to use that for a dartboard backer. Or get friends who can throw a dang dart...

For a, pretty well, no maintenance topcoat, water-based polyurethane may be a better option.

I hate this look but money is money. What sells is what matters.
