I see a lot of people asking: That’s a Seriema (we call it Siriema em Brazil). It is endemic around South America and it is NOT a bird of prey. It is the last survivor relative of terror birds! After it catches something, it throws the prey against the a hard surface to break the bones and make it easier to swallow whole. Their ecological niche in nature is similar to the secretary bird from Africa and the roadrunner from North America, but have no relation.
