It has everything to do with Budapest officials have a long memory and VAR is totally unaccountable....two (admittedly soft) penalty appeals, one showed clear contact on the back of the heel and lets face it, those soft contact ones are always given as penalties now due to VAR...but VAR totally uninterested in anything for Jose....interested in a nonsensical touch of a bootlace to disallow an Atletico penalty yesterday but they didn't have their slide rules out for Jose.
