hey! i've been watching your entire html5 series and it's just great, so many thanks for taking the time to share such great knowledge with us :)
however, i had a question regarding that html5 video tag the other day when i was working on a client's project. he wanted to put a vid on his website, but that vid was supposed to be placed in an angled view of an iphone mockup, meaning i needed a way to display it with alpha channel (because the site had an image-based background). all i found online were some really bad workarounds and eventually i had to settle for flash.
so, to cut things short - do you have any idea how to embed a video with an alpha channel? :)

Many YouTube videos will play using HTML5 in supported browsers. You can request that the HTML5 player be used if your browser doesn't use it by default??

thanks, great videos!

and sharing the MiroConverter tool is nice,
but sadly it doesn't support linux, and their Miro video player (which runs on linux) doesn't convert to webM (it seems so?)

but you always can use VLC -- it does webM too.
