UMMS hospitals using products for highly textured hair

For the first time, the University of Maryland Medical System is stocking personal care products for patients with highly textured hair. Clean hair is important to hospital patients, especially those who are treated for sometimes weeks at a time, and the UMMS initiative is aimed at addressing the diversity, equality and inclusivity issues for patients across the system.
