I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

I love how odd their music is. Its kind of like Korn but in such a different way. So unique. So heavy. The breakdowns are always so damn good.

I've always loved what silent planet does as a christian metal band because they poke holes in what people think it's supposed to be. They always point out flaws in the orthodox philosophy, the hypocrisy, the pain caused.. They're unapologetically christian, but still so vocal against so many counter-intuitive things about it as a whole as well as the society within which the religion exists. Many other metal bands tend to throw stones on the entirety of the belief due to the actions and backwards belief of the orthodox. Silent planet understands the connectedness between the heart of true christianity and other systems. They're very philosophically mature, you can see the influence of many belief systems in their lyricism
