Meet your Dentist: Dr. Farshad Farhoumand | Avanti Dentistry

Welcome to Avanti Dentistry! Meet Dr. Farhoumand - he loves being a dentist because by giving people wonderful smiles he can immediately see the changes he can make in a patient's life. Dr. Farhoumand meets many different people in his daily work and loves the variety that Tysons has to offer. He grew up in Ethiopia, where his father was a dentist. His father was an inspiration to him and he decided to follow in his footsteps. Dr. Farhoumand attended several Italian and French schools in Ethiopia before coming to the United States and continuing his education there. He graduated Georgetown University in 1976 and has been practicing dentistry ever since. Dr. Farhoumand is very proud to work alongside his daughter who is also a dentist at the practice. He says that dentistry has made huge changes in the years that he has been practicing and he has taken many courses to keep up with the changes in dental technique and technology.
