The best gardening advice I've embraced is, Don't plant just food. You need pollinators like bees and butterflies to successfully grow a good crop. So plant some pretty things that pollinators love alongside your food. It can make a huge difference. Especially if your plants aren't producing much for no apparent reason.

Keeping it real mamma! I am impressed with your ability to manage stress and stimuli. Pray for us over here in Houston Texas with these storms, please.

This might sound so strange, but you really have those 90's Peter Rabbit tv show/books vibe on you. Just real homey, beautiful, nostalgic feel in your videos.

Sugar cane mulch is perfect for gardening. Spread around veggies to keep snails away and it will break down and nurture the soil.

My gardening advice is to mulch! I don’t know how you have so few weeds with all that bare soil! I’m in PA and weeds will quickly overtake any spot of bare soil I leave. You can use straw, affordable and light. Mulching will also help soil retain moisture, so less watering.

For gardening- your plants look lovely! I find focusing on amending the soil with lots of compost (you can make your own, or some cities will sell/give it away) is really helpful. It also doesn't look like you're using a mulch at the moment, which can help with soil water retention and cut down on weeds. I use straw, which might also be easiest for you, although it's best to try to get it with as few seed heads as possible. I also focus on planting native plants in areas where I'm not growing food, since they're usually low maintenance and cover ground where weeds could grow. In Saskatchewan you might be able to incorporate some lovely native grasses and wildflowers! Thanks for your beautiful videos.

Crafts are the hardest thing to organize! I don’t know if it works with the doors on the antique cabinet (maybe you could cut it down to size) but I use a clear behind the door hanging shoe organizer for my kids art supplies and it works really well! It has lots of small sections for all the little random things and you can see it all at once.

Hi Delilah, I agree with everyone else’s comments about mending your soil and mulching. One more thing to think about is maybe set the garden up on a drip irrigation system. Plants prefer to be watered T ground level instead of over head. My garden thrived when we added drip irrigation.

I definitely would recommend a cover of mulch on your garden! I noticed a big difference when I switched to using mulch as a weed deterrent and not tilling up the soil. The soil isn’t as depleted as well so it’s a win win!

Hi Delilah, Eloise a crafter after my own heart. I'm so glad she likes to do scrapbooking & maybe some junk Journaling, that's what I love to do. I make all sorts of junk journals. Some medium size & some small ones, & a few mini ones. Maybe for her dolls! I give mine to family & friends for birthdays & Anniversaries! That's great you got all the school supplies & crafts supplies in your beautiful cupboard. I have to have see through containers or I at least to see what's in them or I forget what I have! I need to have them in plain sight or at least in see through bins. But you've done great with your garden. Some people put cardboard down from old boxes, then some mulch on top. It's kind of hard to dig holes to plant. But once it's started then not to bad! But your garden looks beautiful! Thanks for sharing! ♥️😉🫂🦋🧵🪡🧶📓✏️🎨🖌🖼🐾🌹✨️

Check out Charles Dowding and no dig gardening. Focusing on your soil by using lots of good compost will help your plants grow and also you won't need to water as often. He also talks a lot about multi sowing which would be helpful since you don't have a lot of space

My advice for your beautiful garden: mulch! (Can be straw, wood chips, grass cuttings, etc) It will keep the weeds away, and reduce the need for watering ✨
