Most men would try to avoid rejection from a woman. But for a Sigma man, it's unlikely that this will be the case. He'll likely take it as a challenge and not let go, until he either gets what he wants, or ends up in a relationship with her.

The way this manifests is by being charming, well-mannered, confident, and persistent. But also willing to walk away at any time without hesitation. In other words: don't let yourself be intimidated by women just because they can say "no." If anything, rejections are challenges for them!

This is so accurate. I was a single parent with full custody of my kid when I met my wife. She was 23 and I was 33. She told me a romantic relationship was out of the question because of our age difference and being a single dad. I wasn’t hurt or offended in anyway and just kept dating other women and hanging out with her when I had time. She just loved being around me for some reason and watched how I moved thru the world. A true Sigma man won't really care very much about rejection. He will simply move on or try another strategy if he's still interested. Also: Once the "desirable" woman reaches an age when she's not quite as desirable, her ego will never fully recover! This is true no matter what "type" her personality is. The tactic they all use is to make excuses and/or overly rationalize everything. It's a delusional and unrealistic way of thinking. It becomes their go-to "coping mechanism." Usually they become bitter and often hateful. Down deep, they always were.

The trait I don’t have is continuing to chase a female who has rejected me. I only ask once because I know that if I am rejected the first time, i may feel that they want to be chased or they are just playing hard to get. Either way, I only chase one time because I want a woman that’s genuine. However, if she accepts a date, I can chase in my own way. I don’t even ask a woman to dance twice if she rejects me the first time because there are just too many women that are available that won’t make me chase.

I don't think it's safe to generalize as I reacted differently to the most important rejections of my relationship life. When my marriage ended I was devastated and took a year to become an active part of society again though during this I studied depression and wrote my own recovery programme. However later I had a deep and long term relationship and when it ended I was neither bitter or depressed. I may regret its end and still retain very strong feelings for the other person but in no way am I depressed. Maybe this is part of the learning process as I remember the dark moments of my marriage break up but refuse to walk down that particular road of self inflicted hell again.
