Isak is pure class! The way he moves with the ball is pure football

How Arsenal missed out on Isak to begin came as huge shock to me. Watching him back then in his Sociedad days I was really fascinated at how skilful and intelligent he is as a striker. Kind of reminds me of Kanu though he’s quicker.

He is arguably Newcastle’s best player and they are definitely in competition for UCL, hes not going anywhere

Good luck with that. Isak has a £150M price tag. In other words, he's not for sale.

with opinions like that, I can see why he had issues with money

He's not leaving, the southern media are desperately stiring the pot

Merson needs to get it in his head that NUFC are not a feeder club. Isak is happy here in the Toon.

the transfer window was like that with bruno and now it's isak you are stupid to think that Newcastle will sell their best players in addition to those who do everything to block their progress in the league. ridiculous

As an Arsenal fan this is ridiculously deluded, Merson is just clueless. Isak still has 3 years on his contract, we can't possibly afford him and even if we could, we wouldn't be able to spend it because of ffp

If I were Newcastle's owner, I would say "Never" at any price tag presented.

How many times has Isak got to say he doesn’t want to go anywhere he’s happy at Newcastle! The media need to respect the players wishes and leave him alone! And get this tool off air lol

Not even a Newcastle fan, but he's better off staying there. Him and Gordon can help them win something.

I see he's back on the sauce again

Merson being a short sighted knob. Spending £150 million on just one player under current FFP rules is insane, especially as there are more and more top players nearing the end of their contracts who can be picked up for next to nothing. Patience and a sensible recruitment strategy is the key to sustained success.

it is not bout the price tag, it is down to the fact it is is a winter transfer window while newcastle is still in the contention for EPL top four post then isak's availability to be sold is unrealistic. Plus, his top form now with the current club is remarkable and crucial for their campaign.

oh yeah, newcastle are just going to bend over for arsenal for isak lol

That man is £150-200 Million at today's rates and at the January window to give Newcastle the chance to replace him, they'd literally have to break the bank.
